Spore ModAPI Launcher Kit

General Info

Common Errors

Creepy & Cute content missing in-game

This is for users who own Creepy & Cute and have it installed, but cannot access the parts in the Creature Editor.

Make sure you are checking the full Creature Editor - from the galaxy menu, choose Create > Creatures > Creature Creator

If you see the red Creepy & Cute icon in the part palette, you do not need to follow these steps.

Steam users

IMPORTANT: Do NOT install Spore or Creepy & Cute from EA App

EA App users

There are rare instances where Creepy & Cute will stop working entirely for EA App users, even with the above fix. In these cases, the only option is to reinstall the game.

Creepy & Cute content on Spore.com

If Creepy & Cute content is working in-game, but you are missing the Creepy & Cute badge on your Spore.com profile and creatures made with the parts or paints do not appear on Spore.com, this means your EA account is missing the entitlement for Creepy & Cute.

This is not a game issue. The above instructions will not resolve this, nor will reinstalling.

To obtain an entitlement on your EA account, you must submit proof-of-purchase, either by redeeming a CD key on EA.com (for GOG or disc users), or contacting EA support with a purchase receipt (for Steam users). Please see the Spore Official Discord server for more information.

IMPORTANT: Do NOT install Spore or Creepy & Cute from EA App if it is already installed from GOG or Steam. The entitlement simply needs to be on your EA account, and will appear as a badge on your Spore.com profile.
